FTS was first awarded 'Investors in People'status in 2002, which recognised the commitment we show to our employees. FTS was re-credited with the standard in 2005 which demonstrates our on going commitment to our staff.

The award criteria required FTS to show evidence of 'investment' in staff at all levels.

FTS also had to demonstrate excellence in four other key areas to become an 'Investor in People': Commitment - Action - Planning - Evaluation.

Other factors which were praised by the adjudicators and contributed to our accreditation were the 'relaxed and friendly' atmosphere amongst staff, our active social committee and performance incentives to recognise achievement.

Our 'Investors in People' award included the following statement:

"FTS has a very strong people ethic demonstrated by the way the organisation has developed its team leaders and management into a very effective unit."
